All 8th grade students should have selected/or in the process of selecting their electives through StudentVue. Your student should have an elective registration form (purple) with instructions on the front and courses on the back. Students were assisted with how to place them in the portal by Mrs. Hines earlier this week. Elective Registration must be completed by Friday, March 6th.
Kennesaw Mountain High School students and counselors will visit our 8th grade students on Feb.13th at 9:30-10:30 am. During this visit, they will present an overall view of high school courses, sports and clubs.
Kennesaw Mountain High School Spring Orientation is scheduled for February 13th @ 6 pm. This is a great opportunity for parents and students to connect with the high school’s programs and staff. All 8th grade students are invited to join us on a field trip (permission slips already distributed) to Kennesaw Mountain High School on February 14th for a half day of CTAE course previews. Students will be able to preview 6-8 elective courses. This is a great introduction to the HS Elective Registration for our rising 9th grade students. Each student will receive an elective form to review with their parents and begin the electronic registration process. Registration closes on March 6th. Just a reminder that our Giving Tree gifts are due on Monday, 12/16. I appreciate all of your support and the countless gifts we have already collected. We do have a few more families left on the tree, if you are interested. Thanks again, Mustangs Rock!
The time has come to show just how mighty the Mustang Community is with our generosity. This year we have 20 Mustang families in need during the holiday season. Please help us give back to our Pine Mountain Middle School family by simply taking an ornament from the Giving Tree housed in the front office of PMMS. Each ornament has a child’s list or a singular item requested by a deserving family. After purchasing the gift, please return it to the school's front office unwrapped with the ornament attached by the morning of 12/16/19.
Please spread the word. Thanks so much in advance for your generosity!!! All 7th grade students have received information regarding Duke TIP. If you are interested in the program or have questions about your student's eligibility please contact Ms. Brooks in the Counseling Office!
